At hand is the original flat rate warranty book given to Guzzi dealers back in the day.  (My day.)  Published in 1977 by the Berliner Corp. 

Discover how YOU TOO can remove and replace a Guzzi transmission in four hours!  For $30/hr!  Berliner's warranty back then was pretty laughable, but not so funny to a dealer as just about every Guzzi or Ducati sold back then came back for something major.
