Brand new, black anodized, perfect. The only way to remove those chrome seal holders unless you're a monkey-wrenching, knuckle-dragging mouth-breather.
This beautiful tool should be in the toolbox of every owner of early BSAs. It will fit most BSA fork seal holders until 1968, to my knowledge, the type without drillings for the pin spanner that came later. Tricor's part number was 61-3005. This far superior version has removable stainless handles and storage disc.
NOTE: Heat is generally required to remove the seal holders. Also, the working end of the tool might be a bit large for the style of holder with large fork boot circlip. (In this case, belt sanding may be required to slightly reduce diameter.)
